//Recent_Snapshot...

For the last 15 years I have had the privilege to work in many of the fields of service, though which I have been able to shine the brightest in issue resolution. From Printer and Copier Repair, to software and IS support. I have worked as a Production Supervisor, then Manager for Adelante Development Center. As a Production Manager I was running their Bulk Printing & Mailing Enterprise; increasing their annual revenue from 1.6 million to 3.6 million. This bolstered Adelante's confidence in me to start a new Venture, DiverseIT. Though due to the pandemic and the way things were moving, I felt it was time to leave & allow the employees below me to continue getting a paycheck. So I set out to try various avenues that I've had rolling rolling around my head. From 3D Printed Architecture via a proprietary *Adode* mix, Retro Gaming Boxes, a ZeroPoint Energy generator, Omnivironment systems, Laundry Pods, Mouth Wash, Shampoo & Conditioner, Free & Secure Public WiFi, a personal Streaming service running on our local servers, and Art ART and MORE ART! Turns out the corporate & capital backing, make a huge difference! So here I am. Starting small & seeing where we can get!

This will grow and expand as I remember life... Time is wibbley wobbley for me.                                    Last Updated: 06.28.25

//KAT'z Compendium of Experience...

1996-1998

I got a SEGA Genesis / Saturn Hybrid, it literally had both consoles conjoined & took cartridges on one side & disks of the other. Along with an Arcade deck controller, to learn to better utilize my Right hand & arm.

Regardless, the introduction to VideoGames would be my first taste of the potentials in Tech & spurred a life long interest. I learned of many Hacking & Moding devices for my game consoles like; Game Boy, GBColor & GBA, Playstation, & N64! With things like Gameshark or custom built loaders (acquired, I didn't make them at 6-8yo. from hanging out at Noble Game Store). This enlightened me to the inner workings and code of videogames, which exploded my curiosity into learning how everything works! I began taking everything around the house apart & putting it back together... and after ending up with a variety of different screws... I learned to be methodical & question organization...

1999

Had my first computer lab! Where I got to observe & learn some DOS, and hands on learning MS office, and build my first //Hello_World! Learning a little html and DOS only invigorated my desire to learn how things work, and realize there is an underlying code to everything! Which lead my to physics & chemistry. I'm so grateful to have had knowledgeable teachers, who fostered & nurtured curiosity. The Matrix comes out, and I'm all in on Tech...I also get my first home PC towards the end of the year, and begin my Night Owl nature. Exploring the internet until I have to get up for school in a few hours.... oh the days when you had to install AOL with a disk & load the program to connect...

2000

The release of Diablo 2! And the beginning of my PC Gaming & Hacking journey! While learning molecular bonds & atoms in chemistry & microbiology. It all clicks together that the VisiualBasics & html coding building block are very similar to the building blocks of LIFE!

2001

I move on from basic VB code games, as I find the original RPGBuilder software online. A scour the web to find me a free key.... I spend a few months creating a basic character builder, intro quests, and world map! build some monsters & boss fights. I was a kid so that was all enough. Next was to burn it to a disk & create an Epic label & case!! Also lots of Legend of the Dradoon on PS, Halo on Xbox, and Phantasy Star on GameCube....

2002-2005

Oh my, the intro to Online gaming with RuneScape, Eve Online, Everquest, MapleStory, & The Matrix Online... There were so...so many more, but I'll come back & add them as I remember. And of course... learning how to hack them all! And I finally build my first PC somewhere in here to play all these games. And then I did my first custom build PC so I could finally play WoW without lagging...

2006-2007

World of Warcraft..... which led into building private servers & modding everything from quest lines, talent & skill mechanics, and Item creation! =P

2008-20010

I started out this silly journey as a Integrated Management Services Contractor for IKON, at Cardinal Health. Originally hired to work in the mail room & cover the reception desk. As I stream lined the Email & Fax redirection processes at the front desk. I was quickly moved from the mailroom to Document Imaging & Data Entry side of the business. I then began streamlining the Data Entry & Document imaging processes, doubling our productivity! All while still covering for the front desk & mailroom on larger days. Somewhere in 2010 a supervisory position became available for the Document Imaging & Data Entry side, and I obviously applied! I had already streamlined the department & have been basically running the show while the former supervisor moved to another job with 4 days notice! Though as I have been at the company for less than 2 years at this point, no real prior work experience, and 20 years old.... They naturally hired outside the company someone with years of supervisory experience. However, as I have already been essentially working in 3 different departments & 5 different positions, they offered me a Field Support Representative position.

2010-2012

While in the Field Support Rep. position, I covered around the state of NM for any employees taking time off. Effectively learning over 25 different positions & responsibilities at 7 different Companies. Bowing, Cardinal Health, CareFusion, OsoBio, Presbyterian, Tricore, & UNM Hospital. While I was at these positions, or in my off days not covering for anyone, I was responsible for the creation and upkeep of all site procedures. Which included dummy guides for every IKON position at each site. For the Mac Truck scenario, any Joe can come off the street & know the job after following the super simple, reductive, How-To. And somewhere around here IKON gets bought out by RICOH.

2012-2015

Running and self-managing a contracted print production center for Presbyterian Health Services, which has expanded now Three times. During this time I learned MICR encoding and calibration on CANON production presses. and mastered workflow elegance & efficiency, turning what was days worth of work... into 4 hours of work.... in a 12 hour day.... I had a lot of time on my hands, I learned to meditate, be mindful, watch myself workflow myself out of that position... Presbyterian saw how easy the production of their printroom was, and decided to add the position to the responsibilities of their mailroom.... But as a breach of contract, they had to pay out 3 million.... and to be diplomatic, RICOH decided to have me train their employees.... and give me a paycut in the next position as punishment for turning a longterm project & partnership into an inhouse job and short term influx.

2015-2016

I Moved to Adelante Development Center; to spearhead the enterprise start up; creating the operations workflow and streamlining the processes through the first 2 months. Worked with NeoPost software developers to recode and improve their OMS-500 software to suit large volume customers. While supervising an operations team, running the printing & mailing for the State of New Mexico's Human Services Division.

2016-2019

Fostering growth and work ethics of employees; so they could grow through the ranks, becoming specialists and supervisors. Determining cost savings which increase efficiency. Expanding our business by adding multiple contracts including more State of New Mexico departments, and various Arizona State Departments as well as internal work from other Adelante Businesses. Around this time I asked for better compensation, as I had coded the workflows myself rather than the contractor they paid to, since they were unable to make their own software accomplish the task. As well as expanded these workflows to accommodate dynamic changes for different customers or custom jobs. I was told I was at the top end of my positions pay... even though I knew the manager in the position before me, was making $5/hour more than I was at the time.

So at the time I was telling them to shove it, the Vice President of the company asked if I would like to become a Project Coordinator & start a new Community IT/IS Venture.... & I took the bait.

2019-2020

Spearheaded the start up of Adelante's newest venture, Diverse It. A community support option to offer honest & low cost Technology support. We offered tech repairs, low cost computers and other devices, technology training, tech career training, and Senior specific training. I had the privileged to coordinate and train our representatives, to assist the community in the aforementioned.

2020-2021

I worked to develop a modular vertical aquaponic farming unit, and was in the process of driving down my production costs to get to market at a decent price. Though China's mass produced PVC products all started flooding the market around this time, so it was just learning experience. I also developed an adobe mixture, incorporating certain mycelium that will feed on plastic, as well as bio waste. Allowing us to make Adobe from Recycled materials & help reduce our worlds plastic & trash endemic!

2021-2023

2023-Present

I have always had an affinity for flora and nature. As my Father did Landscape & Design on the side while I was growing up. And as an expansion of my experiments into Aquaponics & mycelium, I decided it would be pertinent to learn more about all of it! The flora in all their infinite varieties, Modern agriculture and its roots, how it all ties into our daily lives & often forest for the trees! At alameda greenhouse I covered everywhere from seeding & planting in the back, to watering & care, to the front desk assisting customers with product help & plant suggestions / questions.

As with everywhere I've ended up, we Eventually started a new expansion, 'The Groovy Little Greenhouse' down on Broadway. I helped get the facility set up, from painting walls, building furniture, to designing the logo & website.

While at Alameda Greenhouse I did always hold to me Techy roots, & set up their wireless network & security, for monitoring devices, cameras, ect. I set up their websites for both greenhouses. And did much of the facility maintenance & repair. for various electronics and equipment.

I was not well compensated for everything I was doing at the greenhouse & decided to again try to get something going for myself. I had been doing lots of art work on the side while at the greenhouse, and decided to try my luck at some craft shows, festivals, & even ComicCon. This wasn't as lucrative as I was hoping and I began creating little gaming emulator boxes. Well China started popping those our well undercutting me as well. So I decided to shift & offer my IT / IS knowledge to the community. So I currently offer residential IT / IS, ranging from Audio Video support, to Printer repair. While working on building a Personal Streaming Service as a side project.
